What is the name ? Is this a weed or a herb.?

© This plant was taken with
 NIKON D3100 Lens 18-55mm

I was walking and looking for weeds to shoot
Big was my amazement when I found this lovely
big yellow flower just standing their shouting
"Take my picture."
I just could not resit it.
I was browsing the web and looking in my clever books .
What is the name ? But I am still unsure
Is this a weed or is it a evening primrose the herb?
The flower looks like evening primrose.
The leaves are more narrow and not so compact
as the primrose's .
Maybe I will find the answer and post it on the
blog.

Luke 8 :5 Jesus  told this parable
Once there was a man who went out  to sow corn. As he scattered the seed in the field

7 Some  of the seed fell among thorn bushes. which grew up with the plants and choked them

The seeds that fell among thorn bushes stand for those who hear; but the worries of and the riches and pleasures of this life crowd in and choke them and their fruit never ripens.
